BBL: The International School Stretches into the Hoboken Community, teaming up with LA Boxing to provide children with a safe large indoor gym space.

Beyond Basic Learning; The International School is not only creating opportunities in an urban community for children to learn how to incorporate healthy eating habits from an early start. Children are now being exposed to activity and exercise in newer and exciting ways.

While Beyond Basic Learning already boasts their own outdoor play area at both locations, this state of the art nursery school and educational provider is now teaming up with LA Boxing who is providing children with a safe large indoor gym space for children to run, jump and roll during cold winter months.

“From the infant who is learning how to crawl, to the toddler who desires to run, all the children enjoy the gym,” said Ms. Zuleika. “I often walk by the classrooms asking the children where they are going, to which they loudly proclaim, LA Boxing.”

Beyond Basic Learning recognizes partnering with local business owners in Hoboken, not only emphasizes community, but in a practical way also helps children connect to their neighborhood through meaningful and relevant experiences.
