Beyond Basic Learning: The International School is committed to providing an environment where the child's natural curiosity to learn is guided to support the acquisition of skills that promotes critical thinking and self awareness. Our educational approach embraces the works of leaders such as Montessori, Piaget, Sprague-Mitchell, Dewey and many more in our curriculum. In our school you will find the themes in the classroom to be align with the child’s age which provides teachers the flexibility to shape the curriculum based on the children’s needs.

With both locations overlooking the Hudson River and the Manhattan skyline, our children are provided with wonderful opportunities to learn from their community. Their exposure is not just local, but global, in that Beyond Basic Learning: The International School is home to a diversity of families from more than 20 countries. With an ‘open-door’ policy for our families, you may find a father or a mother participating in our circle time or celebrating their holiday culture with us.
